Sunflower Banana Waffles
Sunflower Banana Waffles are packed full of delcious sunflower butter and ripe bananas. Belgian Waffles topped with banana slices and fresh honey.

Batter
- 1 ¾ Cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tbsp Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
- ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ½ Cup Coconut Oil melted and slightly cooled
- 1 ¼ Cups Milk room temp or slightly warm
- ¾ Cup SunButter Natural Sunflower Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Mashed Bananas
Topping
- Sliced Bananas
- ¼ Cup Honey
- 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter melted *optional
In a large bowl whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
Using a medium bowl whisk together coconut oil, milk, and Sunbutter until creamy.
Stir bananas and eggs together with a fork in a cup or small bowl and add to Sunbutter mixture, then stir.
Slowly pour wet mixture into flour mixture and whisk slowly until a creamy batter is formed.
Pour batter into warm waffle iron and bake until golden brown.
Top with fresh bananas and honey. (stir together melted butter and honey as a pour ove rif desired.)
