Ingredients

Waffle Batter

  • 1 ½ Cups (192 g) Buckwheat Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Sugar
  • 1 ¼ tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ¼ tsp Kosher Salt
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • ½ tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • 1 ¼ Cups (310 ml) Vanilla Almond Milk
  • 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter melted
  • 1 large egg

Topping

  • Sweet Dark Cherries
  • Amber Maple Syrup

Instructions

  • Combine all DRY ingredients into a medium bowl and whisk together.
  • In a separate small bowl combine all LIQUID ingredients and whish together.
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir with spoon. Let batter sit for 3-5 minutes to amplify flavor.
  • Spray waffle iron with non-stick coconut spray.
  • Ladle batter onto waffle iron and cook for 8 minutes or until done.
  • Serve with fresh cherries and maple syrup!
